Cristiano Ronaldo Revealed as Cover Star for Fifa 18

It is the first time that the Real Madrid star has been featured on the cover

A special Ronaldo edition of the game will also be released on all consoles

Those who pre-order the special editions will have him as a five-game FUT loan

Upon being named the cover star, the Portuguese said: "It is a real pleasure to be on the cover of FIFA 18. It's a great feeling and I am grateful to have been chosen."

Ronaldo, who has never been pictured on the cover before, follows a long line of stars who have previously featured.

His rival Lionel Messi took pride of place from 2013 to 2016 when he was featured alongside players including Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale.
